Staten Island, NY - Late last week, the College of Staten Island hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of a new Track & Field complex on the college's campus. Featuring a brand new track and an all-new turf field, the complex is one of multiple projects that will bolster both the Track & Field program. The completed project will also serve the campus and local communities who will have access to the area when it is not in use by the college's athletic programs. The ceremony also featured several speakers who discussed the importance of the project and how it would positively impact not only CSI's athletic programs but the local and campus community as well.
